If you’re a GIANT fan of Joss Whedon and his universe (known to us, the rabid, as The Whedonverse), and you live in the Austin area, you will not want to miss this year’s Wizard World Comic Con, November 11-13. I am more than a little excited that actors from all over the ‘verse will be hanging out in Austin, reliving their days as part of some of the most beloved casts in all of pop culture history. From “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel” (all three actors were on both shows) we get James Marsters, Charisma Carpenter, Mercedes McNab, and Juliet Landau on all three days of the Con, and Adam Baldwin from “Firefly” and Serenity on Saturday and Sunday. Yay!
Oh, there will be some other people there, too. Stand out actors include Academy Award Winner Louis Gossett Jr, Hayden Panettiere, and the five kids from the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will be joining together in a rare reunion to celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary.
