The March 2012 cover of FHM Philippines created quite a backlash – so much that local publisher issued an apology and  printed a new edition. The magazine’s Facebook page was flooded with disdain, comments left on the page asked, “Seriously, did you guys not sense how racist this concept was?”

Wait…what the hell is going on here?

Media outlets are infinitely confusing. Choosing to paint our President and possible contenders, the leaders of the country, as petty thugs who fist fight sends the wrong message to, well, everyone, including Americans. I suppose it would at least be more understandable if Gingrich and Romney were the focus in the fight (but why choose such violent imagery anyway? Is Romney missing a tooth?), but to throw Obama in? He hasn’t done much to get his hands dirty in the campaign – so far.
